Death & Taxes

Ben Franklin gets credit for saying, "In this world nothing is certain but death and taxes."

There may be other things that are certain. We'll leave that for another post. Franklin was accurate about death however. Although he was not a Christian, he concurs with the writer to the Hebrews:

"And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment." Heb. 9:27

Given the certainty of death, it pays to be prepared.

And it also pays to prepare your taxes. Tomorrow is the deadline, and mine are done! Praise the Lord and pass me the economic stimulus money.
