Last week we had a wonderful time in "Almost Heaven," West Virginia. It's my home state so of course, I'm biased. The weather was perfect and we had a great time enjoying the beautiful handiwork of our Heavenly Father. Some of the views were simply breathtaking.The picture to the left is of Canaan Valley (pronounced "Ca nain"). It is a huge valley situated at about 3200 feet. We stayed at the lodge in the State Park. If you have the chance to visit the region, you should definitely make the trip.
We really enjoy living and serving in the Louisville, KY area. God has definitely called us here. But, we also love traveling to WV. There is something heart warming about going home. Family, friends and beautiful scenic vistas make it all very special.
